Each of the eight contenders has seven possible partners, but only six nine-hole matches. That means every player will partner six different competitors and miss out on partnering one. The winning option determines which four pairs are excluded from the draw.
Players of similar seeding positions will not be paired together. The following partnerships are excluded:

Each contender casts one confidential vote for Option A or Option B. The option with the most votes wins. If the vote is tied, the Commissioner will make the final decision. The winning option will be applied to the official seedings and revealed on Seeding Night. The Commissioner oversees ballot validity and confirms the result.
